Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a slower day on the porgy grounds. They did find a nice pile of sea bass and porgies to pick away at. There were also a few keeper fluke and a keeper striped bass. The first place pool winner was Chiqinquiro Hillaio from Philadelphia, PA with a 2.5lb porgy. The second place pool winner with an 8lb striped bass was Vargas Morales from Milwaukee, WI.

Half Day AM
Captain Dave G reports a good morning of fishing! There was a nice mix of sea bass and porgies, along with some nice keeper fluke. The pool winner was Carolyn Grossi from Port Jervis, NY with a 4lb fluke.

Half Day PM
Capt Dave G reports a slower afternoon. Despite the beautiful weather, the breezy conditions made for difficult drifting. Still we managed some nice keeper fluke, sea bass and porgies.

Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports an okay night on the Starship. They had a solid bite for an hour at the height of the tide with bass and blues with a lot of bites. The first place pool winner was Joseph Alfano from Long Beach, NY with a 24.3 lb bass. The second place pool winner was Danny Situ from Brooklyn, NY with a 20.5lb striped bass.
