Night Striped Bass
Captain Carl reports a great night aboard the Viking Starship. We picked a few nice striped bass at the end of the tide, then had to sit through slack catching nothing for a while. Then as soon as the flood tide started, we had solid steady pickings with a mixed size of stripers and a couple of moo cow big ones mixed in. We were only 2 fish shy of a boat limit. The pool winner was George Roberts of Montauk with a 35lb 19oz striped bass.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a great afternoon with plenty of Sea Bass, Porgies and some keeper fluke. It was a beautiful Day! The pool winner Mr Bill Carson from Boston, MA

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Dave G reports a slow morning on the half day boat today. We started with slack tide and a slow drift. Then the tide picked up and we made the morning with sea bass, porgies and fluke. Today’s pool winner was Ezra Kanarick of Manhattan with a 3lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an okay day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had mostly porgies today and  everyone had a few sea bass. We also had a few fluke and some blues in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was a tie between Alphanso Benjamin of the Bronx and Francisco De La Cruz of NYC with 3lb porgies, and in second place was Rob Batt of Floral Park with an 8lb blue.
