Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Dave G reports a great morning of fishing on the Viking Stariper. There were plenty of sea bass, jumbo porgies and a keeper fluke with fish biting during the entire trip. Today’s pool winner was Nick Rubicco of Roscoe NY with a 3lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Fall Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a very good day fishing aboard the Viking Starship. Porgies were a little bit off, but they were quality fish. We limited out on sea bass and there were 45 keeper cod with high hook having 6. They averaged around 12 pounds. The first place pool winner was Roe Zaharias from Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy. The second place pool winner was Osbaldo Burgos from Brooklyn, NY with a 12lb cod.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a great afternoon of fishing with plenty of porgies and sea bass for all! The pool winner was 7 year old Reese Grimm from East Islip with a 4lb porgy.

Night Striped Bass
Capt Dave G reports a slow night of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We picked a couple of striped bass early on, and also some jumbo bluefish, but then the weather front came through and the bite slowed down. The first place pool winner was Dale Menendez with a 15lb striped bass. The second place pool winner was Jessica Smith with a 10lb striper.
