Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports excellent fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. The bite was absolutely great today for porgies, as soon as they got their lines down they were pulling them back up! We only had a handful of sea bass, about 15 cod and one striped bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Frank Anaya from Mays Landing, NJ with a 3.5lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Darling Niciso from Brooklyn with a 13lb striped bass.
