2 Night Tuna Ultra LTD
Captain Carl reports absolutely phenomenal fishing on our 2 Night Tuna Trip! We got to the grounds and anchored up. It took a few hours to get a bite, besides a small swordfish we released. But then we had a steady pick of yellowfin and landed a 180lb big eye! After sun up, the bite stopped, so we made a move and anchored up again and it was game on! We had lots of large albacore and more big yellowfin come in frenzys! We filled every box we had in a couple hours until we had no more room! It was sick! The first place pool winner was Chris Link of the Bonx with a 185lb big eye, in fist place for the edible pool was Mike Reagan of Leominster, MA with a 12lb mahi and the second place for the tuna was David Yellen of Brooklyn with an 80lb yellowfin.

Unfortunately, our last trip is cancelled due to weather, but there are still other boats sailing from New Jersey including the Voyager, Jamaica, Gambler, Miss Barnegat Light and others so jump on one of those!

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a fair day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We had some porgies and sea bass and a few blues in the mix. Almost everyone had their limit of the sea bass. Today’s first place winner was Gamal Mikhaeil of Ridgewood, NY with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Robert Blake of Queens with a 4.5lb sea bass.
