Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass

Captain Anthony reports an excellent day of bottom fishing on the block grounds, with a majority of customers retaining their limits of jumbo porgies and sea bass. We also had about 30 keeper cod today to 20lbs. The first place pool winner was Jesus Chavez of Brentwood with a HUGE 4.3lb porgy and in second place was Tue Shinu Chui of Brooklyn with an 18lb cod.

Captain Dave reports another great day of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had mostly porgies today, with some sea bass in the mix and about 25 keeper cod. Today’s first place pool winner was Adam Saler of Brooklyn with a nice big 4lb porgy and in second place was Jose Parache of Corona Queens with a 12.5lb cod.
