Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a bit of a slower day today aboard the Viking Star. We has a slow pick of some really nice sized porgies and a handful of sea bass. We also had about 20 keeper cod. Today’s first place pool winner was Romaim Itwaru of Queens with a nice big 4.2lb porgy and in second place was Steve Schwartz of the Bronx with a nice 16lb cod. Tomorrow’s weather is looking good- there may be a little rain, but no wind. We will be sailing at 5am.
