Dave Duffy Charter – Thur June 9 to Sun June 12
Captain Steven Sr reports Day 1 – We tried to stay out of the wind the best we could, working around Martha’s Vineyard, by noon the wind was dropping out and we headed to Nantucket to find no wind, calm seas, and fantastic fishing for the rest of the day. We had a lot of 6 lbers and 3 in the 8lb class. We had a full boat limit of fluke. Day 2 – George’s Bank was on fire, on the second drift we had over 1 1/2 hours of cod and haddock coming over the rail. In 7 hours of fishing all coolers were full of delicious cod and haddock. It was time to go home and even Captain Steven took part of fish cleaning for 3 1/2 hours. It was a super trip with awesome guys! Thank you Dave Duffy for another outstanding job putting this trip together. The fluke pool winner was John Johnson from Nesconset, NY with an 8.2lber. The cod pool winner was Tony Lopez from Pennsauken, NJ with a 14lber. The edible pool winner was Angel Hernandez from Brooklyn, NY with a 15lb pollack.
