Captain Dave reports and excellent day of porgy fishing today. Everyone had a nice mess of porgies and a few sea bass. We also had a couple of blues and a few keeper fluke. Today’s pool winner was Tony Sahid of Queens with a nice 3.5lb porgy.

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joe reports HOT fishing this afternoon! We mostly had fluke on the boat, but we did have some sea bass, scup and one bluefish in the mix. Congratulations to Carol Griffiths on her 3 keeper fluke! Pool winners to follow.

LongRange LTD Passenger Bohemoth Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports an absolutely excellent Night Bass trip on the Viking Starship! As soon as we arrived at the grounds it was game on with all X Large moo cow Bass biting the hooks! All the Striped Bass were in the 25-39.5 lb size class! It was epic fishing! Once we reached the boat limit, we did a little bit of catch and release, but not too much because we don’t like to cause stress on the fish and we want to conserve our valuable resource of the majestic stripers. It was a truly awesome night and we did also have a few giant bluefish. Scott Genat from Brooklyn, NY took the pool with a 39.5 lb striper!
