1/2 Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a good morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star despite the unsettled weather. We started the trip catching some nice keeper fluke. Then we began to catch sea bass and porgies. Everyone need up with a nice catch. The pool winner was Mike Schneider from Oakdale with a nice 5lb fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Seabass
Captain Dave M reports a tough start to fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was lots of little fish at the start and they had to make a few moves but eventually they came across some nice big fish. It ended up being a good day of fishing with plenty of Seabass caught as well as some fluke and even a keeper Striper. The pool winner was Alberto Rivera from the Bronx with a 4lb Porgy.

Full Day Fluke & Seabass
Captain Sarah reports rough sea conditions today aboard the Viking Stariper. There was a strong south wind but they still managed to put together a great trip. We started off with a good steady pick of Sea bass and porgy. As the day progressed we caught plenty of keeper fluke with some anglers catching their limits! Our pool winner today was Zack Foster from Balto, Md with a big 7.2lb fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Captain Dave G reports a tough afternoon on the Viking Star. We had a fast drift due to the breeze which made for difficult conditions. We still managed to put together a catch of keeper fluke, seabass and porgies. The pool winner was Diane Nicosia from Brooklyn, NY with a 5lb fluke

Sunset Striped Bass and Bottomfishing
Captain Dave reports a very slow night aboard the Viking Starship. We had slack water and not much tide making for a slow evening. We had one short striped bass and some porgies and seabass.
