Sat July 16

1/2 Day Fluke AM
Capt Dave G reports a great morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We started slow at slack tide, but once the tide started, we caught lots of keeper fluke, sea bass and porgies. Our first place pool winner was Joe Malanga from Delia Terrace, Clark, NJ, a member of RBAC fishing club with a 5.5lb fluke. Second place went to Howard Fox from Montauk NY whose fluke came in at 5lbs.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. There was lots of smaller fish mixed in and a few Seabass too. The first place pool winner was David Thomas from Newark NJ with a 2.75lb Porgy. Second place went to Shawn Singh from Brooklyn with 12lb Seabass.

1/2 Day Fluke PM
Capt Dave G reports that fishing was a bit slower this afternoon on the Viking Star. Still we managed to put together a decent catch with a couple of keeper fluke along with plenty of porgies and sea bass. The pool winner was 10 year old Garen Bogash from Mastic with a 5.1lb fluke!

Full Day Fluke & Seabass
Captain Sarah reports an epic day of fishing today aboard the Viking Stariper. Large fluke were coming over the rails all day long. Most anglers went home with their limits of Fluke and Seabass. We ended up with 10 fluke over 5lbs. Our pool winner for the day was Josh Park from Flushing NY with a big 7lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass
Captain Steven Sr reports a slow night of fishing. The ebb tide started late, but when it did we had a few bass come over the rails, along with some bluefish. The largest striped bass was 45lbs.
