Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports okay fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. We had a bunch of smaller porgies with a few sea bass inshore early. Then we headed offshore and had big porgies in the mix, along with 12 cod and bluefish. The first place pool winner was Peter Kourkounelis from Hicksville, NY with a 2.5 lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Bryan Savell from Newark, NJ with a 15 lb bluefish.

Attention Viking Tuna Fishermen and Women

We still have space available on the 2 day tuna trip deporting Friday, October 7th at 1am and returning on Saturday, October 8th at 3pm.  The weather looks really nice!  Capt Jerry has been on the meat, seeing quality yellowfin and albacore as well as swordfish!  Hurricane Matthew will have no impact on the weather for this trip and as we all know, tuna love to bite before a storm, so this trip should be a good one!
We are closely monitoring the storm for the next trip departing Sunday, October 9th at 1am and returning Monday, October 10th at 3pm which as of now looks good as well.
Call now 631-668-5700 and jump on if you can!!!
