Block Island Bottom – Cod/Sea Bass/ Blackfish – Viking Fivestar
Capt Steven reports that we had another picky day fishing around Block today. We had a couple of fish everywhere we went and found better fishing as the day went on. In the end everyone had a nice load of sea bass with some cod and scup in the mix.
Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports really good fishing today on the Viking Starship. We fished the shallow water today to stay away from the dogfish. We had a really good pick of nice sized porgies. Better than we have seen in awhile. We had some time to look around for sea bass and ended up finding keeper size fish and catching our limit. We also had one striped bass. The pool winner was Billy Wong from Colonia, NJ with a 3.7 lb porgy.
