Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass – Viking Starship
Capt Dave reports that the porgies were a bit off the bite today, but sea bass fishing was excellent. The porgies were a range of mixed size today. Everyone had their limit of sea bass and they were in the 3 to 4 pound range. We also had a handful of cod up to 14 lbs and some bluefish. The dogfish were not much of a bother today. The pool winner was Dimas Sorto from Coram, NY with a 3 lb porgy.

Block Island Cod & Sea Bass-Limited Passenger
Capt Carl reports a great day aboard the Viking Star Cod/Sea Bass trip. We had all the Jumbo Sea bass you could want. Everywhere we went saw plenty of them. We also had a nice showing of Cod as well with around 40 keepers for the boat. It was an action packed fun day of fishing! The cod pool winner was Tommy Kampa from Manhasset, NY with a 15.9 pounder. The sea bass pool winner was Keith Gordon from Bronx, NY with a 5.9 pounder.
