Block Island & Outer Banks Cod
Capt Carl reports a struggle and a tough day cod fishing today. We started off in the morning catching just a few per drift, then a seal popped up and completely shut the bite down. We caught a few more after a move, then had a promising drift of 15-20 cod, but then that bite shut right down again. It made for a very long rest of the day making many moves, but not finding anything to work on. We appreciate everyone being so patient and apologize for the tough day. We will be back at it again tomorrow and hope to see some better results. Ron Pliszak from Patchogue, Ny took first place with a 11.3 lb cod and David Park took second with a 9.2 lb cod.
