Block Island & Outer Banks Cod
Capt Carl reports another tough day on the Viking Starship. In the morning we had a slow pick catching 6-8 cod per drift, half keepers and half shorts, and that slowed right down to 2 or 3 a drift and eventually we stopped catching all together. We tried numerous drops but only caught some bergalls and dogfish. A few guys had 2 or 3, most had 1, and some had none. The pool winners were Victor Goberdham from Queens with a 5 pounder and second was Mihran Akyemniciayaw from Farmingdale, NY with a slightly small one.
