Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports a very slow day of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We covered a lot of ground and searched all day but unfortunately we only caught a couple dozen porgies. The rough conditions and dirty water definitely seemed to have an affect on the bite today. With weather conditions looking better for tomorrow we are hoping for a better bite. Today’s pool winner was Freddy Ruiz of Brooklyn, NY with a 2.5lb porgy.
