Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies
Capt Dave reports good fishing with nice quality fish! It was some of the nicest fish of the season so far with porgies up to over 4 lbs. We also had striped bass, plenty of blue fish, and a handful of throw back sea bass. Everyone caught their limit. The pool winner was Sam Newman with a 4.2 lb porgy. It was the biggest porgy caught so far this year. Tomorrow, Fri June 2 we will begin the Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies that trip departs at 5am and returns at 1pm.
