Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports a good day of porgy fishing today aboard the Viking Star. It was slower this morning with the full moon tide on, which made for tough fishing conditions, but we searched around and found them. It was very good with lots of mixed size fish, we also had a lot of sea bass that were all released unharmed, and a handful of blues in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was Donald Moy of Manhattan with a nice 3lb porgy.
