Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports an excellent morning of fishing aboard the Viking Star today, which came in early as everyone reached their limits! Conditions were rough in the morning with strong winds but the fish still bit well. There was lots of nice sized Porgies as well as about half a dozen keeper Fluke and two keeper Stripers. Lots of blues were coming over the rails too and some Sea bass which were all released unharmed. The Pool winner was Jimmy Hughes of Lindenhurst NY with a nice 3.5lb Porgy.
