Montauk Jumbo Porgies
Captain Dave reports a good day of porgy fishing today! We drifted first thing this morning and had really nice big fish! Then we anchored by the lighthouse and picked away all day. We had a mixed size porgies, 1 keeper fluke, 1 striped bass and a bunch of sea bass, that were all released unharmed. All in all, it was a really good day fishing. Today’s pool winner was Donald Moy of Manhattan with a nice big 3.75lb porgy.
