Montauk Summer Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an excellent morning of fishing today aboard the Viking Star. We had perfect conditions today with plenty of nice sized fish. Towards the afternoon we went look for some sea bass and we found a pile that let us slowly pick away. Everyone almost reached their limit with a couple nice sea bass and also everyone had a handful of keeper fluke. Today’s first place pool winner was Danny Bethea of Jamaica with a nice 3.75lb porgy and in second place was Tony Fish with a 4.5lb fluke.
