Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Seabass
Captain Dave reports an excellent morning of porgy fishing aboard the Viking Star today. There was a good bite from the porgies all morning and we brought in plenty of nice sized porgies with a few smaller ones mixed in. We went back to the same zone as yesterday for sea bass and there was plenty of action again but mostly smaller fish. A lot of the sea bass were throw aways but everyone still managed a few keepers. We also had a few keeper fluke! The pool winner was Simon Choi with a nice big 4.2lb Porgy!
