Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a very good day of fishing today! It was a beautiful day on the water today, we started really close to the lighthouse and we had a slow steady pick of nice big porgies. The tide ran and we worked our way more east and had excellent action with mixed size porgies and a ton of huge sea bass. Everyone had their limit of sea bass. All in all, we had good action with lots of double headers coming over the rail. Today’s first place pool winner was Neptal Trasporte of the Philippines with a nice 3lb porgy and in second place was Nelson Hernandez of Bay Shore with a nice big 4.5lb sea bass.
