Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports MUCH improved Striped Bass fishing on the Viking Starship tonight. We had much better conditions and that equals much better fishing. Diamond jigging tonight was excellent, with many keeper Striped Bass, many throwbacks, and many big gorilla blues as well! Once it got dark, we had to wait for the tide to change, but once it did, they started biting again! It was definitely a smaller cull of fish than we have been seeing, but we did have a couple decent ones as well. We picked away and ended up with our boat limit of Striped Bass so everyone onboard got to take home a delicious Bass! Gary Young took the pool with a 28 pounder!
