Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a great day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We changed things up today by fishing for sea bass first and fishing was excellent! After everyone got plenty of sea bass we worked back towards the lighthouse looking for porgies. We brought in a nice mix of porgies and sea bass. We had one great drift in perfect conditions where we brought in some really nice jumbo sized porgies. Nikki Noel took the pool with a nice 3.25 lb scup.
