Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a slow and frustrating night on the Viking Starship. We drifted through some big schools of fish but only had a couple Striped Bass bite the hooks. Then we had to wait through a slacktide, and then deal with wind against tide for the rest of the night with just a few blues taken. We do think Friday and Saturday should improve with extra time fishing the flood tide. Martin Tripptree from Sayville, NY took the pool with a 28 pound Striped Bass.
