Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports that we started off down the beach this morning with a good pick of porgies on the smaller side, but there was a lot of action. We then worked our way east towards the lighthouse where we found nice quality porgies with plenty of sea bass mixed in. We also had a couple of keeper fluke. The first place pool winner was James Lee from Fresh Meadows, NY with a 3.3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Cesar Canel from Hampton Bays, NY with a 4.1 lb Sea Bass.
