Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports that porgy fishing started out a little bit slow today on the Viking Starship. We looked around a bit then anchored on a nice pile of mixed sized porgies with some sea bass in the mix. Once the tide got heavy we went to the east and found a bunch of sea bass with some porgies mixed in. We had limits of sea bass up to 5 lbs and limits of porgies around the boat. The pool winner was Chris Luttecke from the Bronx with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy.
