Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a very good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We started off the morning by going offshore looking for sea bass. We found a good pick of sea bass and small porgies here. Then we went back towards the lighthouse looking for bigger porgies but they were hard to find. We had plenty of nice medium to large sized fish but very few jumbos. The pool winner was Steve Seabrook from Sayville NY with a 2.5lb scup.
