Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a steady day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship today. We started off the morning trying to hide from the weather but we found a nice spot and anchored up.  We had a good pick of smaller porgies here. There was lots of action here and we had lots of double headers.  We went looking for sea bass then and found a good amount of them too. On our last drop we had a mix of poriges, sea bass, trigger fish and mackerel. All in all it was a very good day of fishing! The pool winner was Dennis Edwards from Teaneck NJ with a 2.5lb porgy.
