Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass.
Captain Dave reports a mixed day of fishing back on the Viking Starship. We started off in the AM with some really good porgy fishing. We caught some good sized jumbo fish. We then went looking for sea bass but we only found a handful and they were mostly small. This might be because there was a pretty big swell. Even when we went looking for sea bass though the porgy fishing was still good and we got lots more nice mixed size ones. The pool winner was Benjamin Thomas of NJ with a 3.2lb scup.
