Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an excellent day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship today. It was good from the moment we made our first drop! Steady fishing all day with mostly jumbo sized porgies with only a few smaller ones in the mix. We went for the sea bass later in the morning and found a nice mess of them! Everyone had their limit of sea bass today. Today’s first place pool winner was John Williams of NY with a nice 3.25lb porgy and in second place was Salisha Hosein of Queens with a jumbo 4.5lb sea bass.
