Night Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a tough night of Bass fishing tonight. Our very first drift was at the end of the flood tide where we caught 1 Striped Bass and some blues. The next drift was slack tide, and the rest of the night was outgoing ebb tide, which, all season, has just not produced for us. Tomorrow night and Saturday night will see the same tough tide conditions, but next week on our Full Moon Wednesday, September 6 trip, as well as the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night trips, we will have the right flood tide conditions. Craig Bender from Lindenhurst, NY was the lucky angler who won the pool with a 15.3 pound Striped Bass.
