Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports an excellent day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. There were plenty of porgies for everyone today- all nice, big quality porgies. The conditions were perfect, and we went on for the sea bass where we picked through, but in the end found some really nice sized sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Clifford Browne of Brooklyn with a 3.2lb porgy and in second place was Choi Jang Sung of Flushing with a HUGE 6.1lb sea bass.
