Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a little bit of a slower day today over near Block Island. We started off a little bit slow with the big swell on but we had a fair pick of porgies and sea bass. Then we tried something different and moved around a little, anchored up and had a good pick of nice sized porgies and sea bass. We also had about 20 keeper cod in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was Angel Rodriguez of the Bronx with a huge 4.2lb porgy and in second place was Tom Tang of Queens with a 12lb cod.
