Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. It was a bit windy when we got out there this morning, but once it died down, the fishing came on steady. We moved around a bit to find some bigger fish, but today was mostly smaller fish than we have been seeing. Still some nice quality meat coming over the rails. Everyone pretty much had their limit of porgies and close to their limit of nice sea bass. We also had about 15 keeper cod up to 17lbs. Today’s pool winner was Hung Lee with a nice JUMBO 4.5lb porgy.
