Block Island Cod & SeaBass
Capt Steven Sr. reports an okay day on the Viking Star. It was a tough grind on the Cod and SeaBass grounds. Whenever we got going with big SeaBass or Cod the dogfish or porgies shut us down. We had to bounce around to get on the nice stuff. At the end of the day we had a nice shot of Cod and Large SeaBass, with plenty of medium SeaBass and Porgies mixed in. The SeaBass pool winner was Manuel from Newark, NJ with a 5.5 lber. The Cod pool winner was Pete Seabrook from Sayville, NY with a 15.25 lber.
