Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports another great day of Porgy fishing on the Viking Starship. The Porgies were plentiful close to the island in the shallow water. We then went offshore to deeper water and unfortunately the “dog”s were hungry! It made for tackle busting Sea Bass fishing, even on the higher pieces, but everyone got a few. There were also a few Cod as well. The pool winner was Gho Ghan from Queens with a 3.16 lb Porgy.
