Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a good day with a little bit of everything on the Viking Starship. We started in the shallow water close to Block Island, but the action dropped off so we did not stay very long. We then moved offshore into the deeper water and had a nice mixed bag of Porgies, Sea Bass and Bluefish. We made a couple of drops and had good action on all of them. The pool winner for both pools was Aaron Kalladeen from Hillside, NJ with a 3.2 lb Porgy and a 14.4 lb Cod. All fishing trips are cancelled for Sunday November 19th due to the gale force winds expected.
