Block Island Winter Cod – Viking FIvestar
Capt Steven Jr reports that we got out with the crew from the James Joseph and we managed to put a good catch together with the given conditions. It was nothing like we have been seeing the last couple days, but it was good enough to send everyone home with a nice bag of fillets. We had a good shot of fish early in the day but after that drop the bite just died. We hopped around and made a few more drops but never found anything to work on. There are fish around unfortunately they were just being picky today.

The crew from the James Joseph chartered the boat today and they saw a good shot of cod early then it dropped off after that.

Fishing was much slower today. We are expecting Gale Force winds tomorrow and the 3am trip is cancelled.
