1/2 Day Fishing AM
Capt Steven Jr reports tough fishing this morning due to windy conditions on the Viking Starship.  Despite conditions we had a handful of fluke and porgies.  We also had a bunch of sea bass in the mix that were released back into the water unharmed.  The first place pool winner was Billy Purdy of Babylon, NY with a 5lb fluke.

Montauk Porgy Fishing
Capt Dave reports good fishing in the rough conditions aboard the Viking Star this morning. We started and ended the day on anchor, we caught plenty of fish on the smaller side while on the hook. We had ideal drifting conditions for about an hour and caught lots of porgies in the 3-4lb range.  We also had a lot of sea bass in the mix that were released unharmed back to the water.  We didn’t have a pool today but the largest porgy was about 4lbs.
