Full Moon Striped Bass
Capt Carl is happy to report an improved night Striped Bass fishing on the Viking Star. It wasn’t the June Moon slam that we were hoping for, but we did catch some better size fish on the eels in the dark. We expect the fishing to improve more and more in the next couple of days with a big body of big Striped Bass being reported just to the west of us and on their way to Montauk! Tom Retzlaff from Setauket, NY took first in the pool with a 19 pound Striped Bass and Chris Swindells from Sag Harbor, NY took second with a 17 pound Striper.
