Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Seabass
Captain Dave reports a decent day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We started off with excellent porgy fishing early in the morning. We then went looking for seabass but the winds picked up and the seas were a bit rough. We had to pick through a lot of small fish and there was a lot of tangles due to the wind but everyone still got their limit of seabass. The pool winner was Jose Cunha from NJ with 3.3 lb scup and second place went to George Papadopoulos with an 11lb striped bass.
