Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports an excellent day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We started off fishing for scup right by the Lighthouse where we had some nice mixed size porgies and when we went a bit further out we found some jumbos. After limiting out with porgies we went looking for seabass. We had to pick through a lot of small fish but got some really nice big seabass with everyone reaching their limits.  We We also had some nice fluke, mackerel and bluefish in the mix. The pool winner was George Andreopoulos from New Hyde Park with a 4.5 lb porgy.
