Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a nice day all around on the Viking Starship. This morning we had perfect conditions around the lights and had a ton of mixed sized porgies. We milled through lots of nice ones before moving on to do some sea bassing. We had tons of sea bass and everyone caught their limit of decent sized keepers. Today we had sea bass up to 4lbs with lots of mackerel, blue fish and a couple fluke brought over the rail. Today’s first place pool winner was Willis Morrison of Bridgehampton, NY 3.1lb porgy.
