Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead Seabass
Captain Dave reports excellent porgy fishing aboard the Viking Starship this morning. We got a decent amount of nice sized porgies before we went looking for sea bass. The sea bass bite was a little off today compared to earlier on in the week. We had to pick through a lot of smaller fish but we still got some decent sea bass and some more big porgies. The pool winner was Ignacio Castillio with a 3.1lb scup and Foon Wong got second place with a nice 4.7lb sea bass.
