Thurs Sept 6

Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Captain Dave reports a fine day of fishing with plenty of Porgies in the morning around the lighthouse on the Viking Starship. The wind made it a little difficult but we still landed plenty of Porgies and Sea Bass. We did see more mixed sizes than yesterday when almost all the Porgies were Jumbo. Capt. Dave reports that we also landed plenty of keeper Fluke today also, with the largest (not in the pool) weighing in at over 7 lbs being caught by Jeff Greenbaum. Today’s Porgy pool was taken by Mark Cho from NYC with a Jumbo 4lb Porgy.
