Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. It was a slower start to the Porgy fishing by the lighthouse due to the fast new moon tide. When the conditions got better we did have plenty of mixed size porgies. The Fluke were also biting good while we were at the Porgy grounds and we landed a bunch of them. We put in some extra time a the SeaBass grounds where we had a lot of smaller fish mixed with some very quality sized fish. The first place pool winner was Jaurer Zauala from NY, NY with a 4 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Pete Seabrooke with a 7 lb Fluke. Unfortunately the trips for Sunday and Monday are CANCELLED due to weather.
