Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass- Captain Dave reports that today’s trip started off with some good action however the Porgies were on the smaller side. We moved on to a new spot and had excellent fishing with limits being caught by most. Today’s catch included by far the biggest Sea Bass we have seen yet this year with Sea bass as big as 7lbs coming over the rails. It does not get much better than today on the water with perfect weather and fantastic fishing. First place in today’s pool goes to Edward Pimental from the Bronx NY with a 3.11lb Porgy and second place was won by Jerry Acosda with a 6.2 lb Sea Bass. Come on down! The 140ft Viking Starship sails daily at 5am, returning at 3pm. Our office opens at 4am for ticket sales. The fare is $110 and bait is included.
